Maserati Levante Behind A Guinness World Record

The Guinness World Record for the fastest snowboard ride has been set, and it was accomplished by a snowboarder being towed by none other than the Maserati Levante.

According to media.maserati.com, “Britain’s fastest snowboarder Jamie Barrow has broken his own Guinness World Record, clocking a new faster speed on a snowboard while being towed by a vehicle on the frozen lake of St. Moritz.” Using a Maserati Levante, Barrow did two runs on February 19th. The run out was clocked at 151.57 km/h, and the return run was clocked at 147.72 km/h. Averaged out, the resulting Guinness World Record speed is 149.65 km/h. The article also stated that the Maserati Levante is a much faster vehicle than the one Barrow used to set the previous record.

Now working with this powerful and stylish SUV, we at Jim Ellis Maserati aren’t surprised at all that the Maserati Levante was responsible for towing a man into the record books.
